I am a serious Tetris player and also creator of the game Chaste Tris which is available on Steam and itch.io now. I know a lot about how to score high in Tetris. I also play just about every other kind of video game there is.
Tetris remains my favorite game though. It is relaxing yet stimulating at the same time.
